Greg Stamper – Singer , Songwriter, Producer

This week on TALK! with AUDREY: SINGER / SONGWRITER / PRODUCER GREG STAMPER joins me to talk about his new album ONE WITH YOU.

The church has been the breeding ground for countless artists and Greg is no exception. In addition to embracing sacred music, Greg was heavily involved in school music programs from Elementary school to High School. As a result of his talent he was recognized as a Distinguished Scholar in the Arts receiving a partial scholarship to attend any school in the state of Maryland and performed in Constitution Hall.

In college as a member of the world-renowned Morgan State University Choir under the direction of the late Dr. Nathan Carter, Greg had the opportunity to perform in world famous venues including Carnegie Hall and tour the US.

C.A. Griffith and H.L.T. Quan – Co-Directors of Mountains That Take Wing

This week on TALK! with AUDREY: C. A. GRIFFITH and H.L.T. Quan (left to right) are seven people—director, producer, researcher, writer, cinematographer, soundperson and editor—all in two award-winning, women filmmakers. Through QUAD Productions, they create social justice films and train grassroots organizations and media activists. As professors, they train and inspire young scholars and artists.

MOUNTAINS THAT TAKE WING is an award winning, inspiring, historically rich and unique documentary featuring conversations between two amazing women with a profound passion for justice. Angela Davis, an internationally renowned scholar-activist and Yuri Kochiyama, a revered, 88 year old community organizer and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, embody personal and political experiences of women doing social justice work. Illustrated with rare footage of extraordinary speeches and events from the late 1800’s to the 1960’s through today, the film explores the critical role women, youth and crosscultural, crossracial alliances played in some the 20th Century’s most important social movements
