Paul Schulte: World Champion and Paralympic Medalist in Basketball

This week on TALK! with AUDREY: PAUL SCHULTE, World Champion and Paralympic Medalist in Basketball, joins me LIVE from Denver, CO – site of the Wheelchair Basketball Championships For the almost 100 million disabled individuals and seniors in this country, even “ordinary” tasks like caring for children, driving a car, or going to work can require extraordinary effort – yet few people are aware of these everyday struggles and achievements.

One man who truly embodies this spirit is Paul Schulte. Injured in a car accident when he was 10 years old he loss the use of his legs and has been wheelchair bound. He went on to become a World Champion and Paralympic medalist in basketball.

New Campaign Seeks to Empower and Inspire 
A new campaign from Invacare seeks to celebrate these amazing life stories of people living with a disability, advanced age or ailment… one video at a time. The Real Life Campaign is looking for people to upload videos detailing their own personal life stories, or those of others, in hopes of teaching and inspiring others
