Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV is a highly contagious virus that can lead to respiratory illness for infants, including lung infections such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia. RSV has been on the rise over the past few months, and according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in southern environments like Florida, RSV season has an earlier onset and longer duration than most regions of the country.
