A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds. Despite the fact that five children die every in the U.S. day from abuse and neglect, child abuse is still being swept under the rug.

In fact, the U.S. has one of the worst records among industrialized nations – losing on average between four and seven children every day to child abuse and neglect. Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, co-founders of Childhelp, the nation’s oldest and largest nonprofit advocating for abused and neglected children, join me to talk about their education programs and new PSA to help prevent child abuse.
